<br />RESOLUTION 8656 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE STORMWATER IMPROVEMENT AT 2266 LAMBERT AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council authorized seeking quotes for the stormwater improvement <br />at 2255 Lambert Avenue on October 24, 2016 via Resolution 8651; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer contacted three companies to perform the authorized <br />work ; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, two of the companies contacted provided quotes which ranged from <br />$67,216.60 to $92,549.10; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas-Kerr Underground LLC of Mora, MN provided the lowest <br />responsive quote; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has $50,000 in the Storm Water Fund 745-4415- <br />7050 for 2255 Lambert Avenue and an additional $25,000 in the Storm Water Fund 745-4415- <br />7050 for other storm water projects. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City Council approves the award of a contract to Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC in the <br />amount of $67,216.60 for completion of the work at 2255 Lambert Avenue. <br />2.
