I-i-em i/6 II F <br /> IIIRESOLUTION NO. 5080 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NATIONAL SPORTS CENTER ICE ARENA MASTER <br /> AND SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITIES OF ARDEN HILLS,NEW <br /> BRIGHTON, SHOREVIEW AND WITH THE MOUNDS VIEW YOUTH HOCKEY <br /> ASSOCIATION AND RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, the representatives of the Cities of Arden Hills, Mounds View,New Brighton and <br /> Shoreview known as SAMN, have been meeting with representatives of several other <br /> communities and the SAMN to discuss the potential development of a four sheet ice complex at <br /> the National Sports Center in Blaine. <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the Master and Suppplemental Agreements, the SAMN would build and <br /> operate a four sheet ice complex at the National Sports Center site in Blaine. <br /> WHEREAS, the Supplemental and Master Agreement (attached) outlines the financial <br /> responsibilities and relationship between the Cities of Shoreview, Arden Hills, Mounds View and <br /> New Brighton, the Mounds View and Irondale Youth Hockey Associations and Ramsey County. <br /> • NOW THEREFORE, be it resolvedtheMounds by City Council of the City of Mou ds View to authorize <br /> the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to execute and approve the Master and Supplemental <br /> Agreements for the National Sports Center Ice Complex. <br /> Adopted this 27th day of January, 1997 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Duane McCarty,Mayor <br /> • <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Charles S.Whiting,Clerk-Administrator <br /> S <br />
