A <br /> n 7.7) <br /> Page 1 <br /> • January 6, 1997 <br /> Mounds View City Council <br /> PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY,MINNESOTA <br /> Annual Meeting <br /> January 6, 1997 <br /> Mounds View City Hall <br /> 2401 Hwy. 10,Mounds View,MN 55112 <br /> ********************************************************************************** <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor McCarty at 6:10 p.m.on January 6, 1997. <br /> 11111 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> The Oath of Office for Mayor McCarty,City Council members Roger Stigney,Roger Koopmeiners and Gary <br /> Quick was administered by Clerk Administrator,Chuck Whiting. <br /> Mayor McCarty noted that is was a lengthy agenda session and the meeting would be adjourned after roll call <br /> had been taken. Mayor McCarty further explained the purpose of the work session to the viewing audience at <br /> home and those in attendance. The work session is an informal method of doing business which informs <br /> Council members of upcoming issues while also allowing staff the opportunity to inform the Mayor and <br /> Council on issues of importance to the City with a special emphasis on those items that will be addressed at the <br /> next council meeting. <br /> Mayor McCarty motioned to leave the cameras running through the work session. Although this has not been <br /> past practice,Mayor McCarty hopes this will continue in the future which will allow residents to be more <br /> informed on City Council issues and actions. <br /> MOTION/SECOND:McCarty/Stigney to approve the cameras remain on through the work session. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor McCarty, Council members Trude,Quick <br /> 1111 Koopmeiners,and Stigney <br /> ALSO PRESENT; Chuck Wlutmg,Clerk Admmistrator <br />
