Resolution 8358, Approving a Construction Contract with Bergerson 15 <br />Caswell, Inc. for the 2015 Municipal Well No. 6 Rehabilitation Project. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Project Coordinator Stenglein stated the City recently evaluated its municipal wells and pumps. 18 <br />He explained that Well No. 6 was last replaced in 2008 and was in need of rehabilitation. He 19 <br />reviewed the quotes supplied by contractors for this work and recommended the Council approve 20 <br />the construction contract to the low bidder submitted by Bergerson Caswell out of Maple Plain, 21 <br />Minnesota. It was noted that funds from the Water Enterprise would cover the expense of this 22 <br />contract. 23 <br /> 24 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance 897, an Ordinance Amending 33 <br />Chapter 603, Section 603.06, of the City Code relating to Licensing 34 <br />Requirements for Garbage and Recycling Haulers. 35 <br /> 36 <br />City Administrator Ericson stated last October the Council adopted Ordinance 891, which 37 <br />amended the City Code regarding licensed garbage haulers. He explained that the City was 38 <br />working to improve the amount of resident participation in the City recycling program. He 39 <br />discussed the proposed revisions to City Code. Staff recommended the Council approve the first 40 <br />reading and introduction of Ordinance 897. 41 <br /> 42 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To approve the First Reading and Introduction of 43 <br />Ordinance 897, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 603, Section 603.06, of the City Code relating 44 <br />to Licensing Requirements for Garbage and Recycling Haulers. 45
