<br />Item No: 7.A. <br />Meeting Date: April 13, 2015 <br />Type of Business: Council Business <br />Administrator Review: _____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Mark Beer, Finance Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 8389 Appointing MMKR to Provide Auditing <br />Services for the Years Ended December 31, 2015, 2016, 2017 <br /> <br />The City’s contract for auditing services has expired with the 2014 audit. The auditing firm of <br />Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich, & Co., P.A. (MMKR) has performed and provided <br />audit services that have been beneficial to the City. MMKR has provided at staff’s request an <br />extension of audit services for the years’ ending December 31, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for <br />Council consideration. The City has received more than satisfactory service from MMKR and <br />the proposed fees reflect minimal increases for 2015, 2016, and 2017. The fee for the 2014 <br />audit was $31,600. <br /> <br />The proposed fee for 2015 is $32,200 plus expenses, 2016 - $32,800 + expenses, and 2017 - <br />$33,400 + expenses. <br /> <br />Resolution 8389 appointing MMKR as auditors for the years ended December 31, 2015, 2016, <br />and 2017 is attached for your approval.
