<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(7) Poultry and fowl shall be fitted with leg bands containing information sufficient to <br />demonstrate ownership. <br /> <br />(8) Food shall be stored in a watertight, rodent-proof container. <br /> <br />(9) Permits are valid for one year and shall be renewed annually. Permits may be <br />revoked or denied by the City Council based on cruelty, negligence or nuisance. In <br />such event, the property owner shall be provided with an opportunity to be heard. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br />following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: <br /> <br />On June 22, 2015, the City Council adopted Ordinance 903 that amends <br />Chapter 701 of Mounds View Municipal Code to provide for limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of Poultry and Fowl on single and two-family <br />residential properties. Residents would be limited to no more than eight such <br />birds restricted to backyard areas. A printed copy of the ordinance is available <br />for inspection during regular business hours at Mounds View City Hall and is <br />available on line at the City’s web site located at www.ci.mounds-view.mn.us. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
