It was noted the plans and specifications were based on the previously approved 2 <br />feasibility study. 3 <br /> 4 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Revised 5 <br />Resolution 8416, Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bid for 6 <br />the Mustang Drive/Circle Pavement Rehabilitation Project. 7 <br /> 8 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 9 <br /> 10 <br />L. Resolution 8417, Approving a Construction Contract with Rosenquist 11 <br />Construction, Inc. for the 2015 Reroofing of Well House No. 2, and Booster 12 <br />Station. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Interim Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council approve a construction contract 15 <br />for the reroofing of Well House No. 2 and the Booster Station. He discussed the bidding process 16 <br />and noted the low bid was submitted by Rosenquist Construction, Inc. in an amount of $71,960. 17 <br />He noted the project was expected to be completed by June 26th. In addition to the reroofing, 18 <br />masonry rehabilitation work was necessary and amounted to $141,460. With contingencies, the 19 <br />project totaled $224,218. Staff discussed how the project would be funded and explained the 20 <br />project was budgeted for 2015. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Meehlhause appreciated staff explaining how the project would be funded, 23 <br />since it came in over budget. He asked if there were any other roofs in need of replacement. 24 <br />Interim Public Works Director Peterson commented that Random Park was the only structure 25 <br />that remained on the list for replacement. 26 <br /> 27 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause.
