<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(7) Food shall be stored in a watertight, rodent-proof container. <br /> <br />(8) Permits are valid for one year and shall be renewed annually. Permits may be <br />revoked or denied by the City Council based on cruelty, negligence or nuisance. In <br />such event, the property owner shall be provided with an opportunity to be heard. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br />following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: <br /> <br />On June 22, 2015, the City Council adopted Ordinance 903 that amends <br />Chapter 701 of Mounds View Municipal Code to provide for limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned <br />R-1, Single Family Residential. Residents would be limited to no more than <br />eight such birds restricted to backyard areas. A printed copy of the ordinance <br />is available for inspection during regular business hours at Mounds View City <br />Hall and is available on line at the City’s web site located at www.ci.mounds- <br />view.mn.us. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
