Resolution 8430, Approving the 2015 Festival in the Park of Mounds View 6 <br />Contract. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Council approve the 2015 Festival in the Park 9 <br />of Mounds View contract. She discussed the budget and expenses for the Festival and noted the 10 <br />City would be donating $5,000 for fireworks. 11 <br /> 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance 904 to Amend Chapter 1106 of 18 <br />the Mounds View Zoning Code to Allow Additional Types of Exterior 19 <br />Materials on Columbaria. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Planning Associate Heller reported the Council recently approved an Ordinance that would allow 22 <br />columbaria in the City of Mounds View at religious institutions. She explained that a local 23 <br />church has approached the City requesting columbaria to be constructed of brick and bronze, 24 <br />which would not be allowed under the previously approved Ordinance. She requested that the 25 <br />Council introduce an Ordinance that would amend Chapter 1106 of the Mounds View Zoning 26 <br />Code which would allow for brick and bronze columbaria. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Mueller thanked staff for completing the additional research on this matter. 29 <br />She supported the proposed code amendment. 30 <br /> 31 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause.
