Mounds View City Council October 12, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty encouraged the Council to consider if they would support the use of TIF on the 1 <br />Crossroad Pointe project. 2 <br /> 3 <br />City Administrator Ericson reported he recently attended a national conference in Seattle, 4 <br />Washington. The event was a great learning experience for him. He requested that the Council 5 <br />authorize his attendance at this event due to the fact it was out of state, as required by the 6 <br />Personnel Manual. 7 <br /> 8 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Approve the City Administrator attending Out of 9 <br />State Training in Seattle, Washington. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 12 <br /> 13 <br />City Administrator Ericson explained that Jennifer Fulton with the Police Department had 14 <br />attended free training in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He requested the Council approve the out of 15 <br />state travel for training purposes. 16 <br /> 17 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Approve Jennifer Fulton attending Out of State 18 <br />Training in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br />City Administrator Ericson reported he attended a meeting at the manufactured home park with 23 <br />MnDOT last week. Encroachments on the MnDOT right of way were discussed at the meeting. 24 <br /> 25 <br />C.
