He indicated the Planning Commission recommended unanimously 9 <br />approved of the request. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Council Member Mueller supported Mr. Smith’s garage addition. 12 <br /> 13 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 14 <br /> 15 <br />B. 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing: Resolution 8475, Approval of the 2016 Fee 16 <br />Schedule. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane explained the preliminary 2016 Fee Schedule was reviewed 19 <br />by the Council at their November worksession meeting. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8475, 27 <br />Approval of the 2016 Fee Schedule. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 30 <br /> 31 <br />C. 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 909, 32 <br />Amending Chapter 1103 of the Mounds View Zoning Code Pertaining to 33 <br />Fencing, Screening and Landscaping (ROLL CALL VOTE). 34 <br /> 35 <br />City Administrator Ericson stated the Council introduced Ordinance 909 pertaining to fencing, 36 <br />screening and landscaping at their October 26th meeting. He noted the proposed City Code 37 <br />amendment would allow fences on corner lots with two front yard areas to be up to six feet. He 38 <br />explained the Planning Commission has reviewed a number of variance requests for taller fences 39 <br />for corner lots and therefore recommended a City Code change. He reviewed the language 40 <br />changes further and requested the one foot setback be removed (Item 3D). Staff recommended 41 <br />adoption of Ordinance 909. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Council Member Mueller asked what language should be removed from the Ordinance.
