Attached is Resolution 8260, which authorizes severance to James <br />Stoffel in accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. In accordance with Article <br />23.1 (A) of the current labor agreement: <br />Upon Separation from employment with the City, employees with less <br />than twenty (20) years of service and leave in good standing will <br />receive a lump -sum taxable severance compensation for all accrued <br />vacation and compensatory time. <br />Discussion <br />Resolution 8260 provides a payout of James Stoffel's accrued/unused vacation time. In <br />accordance with Article 23.1, James Stoffel is authorized a vacation time payout totaling <br />$1,011.81. This is calculated as 46.52 accrued/unused vacation hours times his hourly rate <br />of $21.75. James Stoffel has no compensatory time accrued. <br />In accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement, James Stoffel is not eligible for a <br />sick time severance payout. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approving Resolution 8260 in accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS <br />Local 204 Labor Agreement. <br />kRespectfully submitte"d,,n� <br />xcChClGr[� <br />Desaree Crane <br />
