Resolution 8242 <br />CPage 2 <br />In addition, the underlined language was added for clarification purposes: <br />Class is determined by the following formula: Employee age plus completed years of <br />service with the City. Employees shall remain in the same class for the duration of this <br />Agreement. New Employees will be assigned, and remain in, the class that equals their <br />age at the time of appointment, plus the zero years of service, for the remainder of the <br />duration of this Agreement. <br />5. Article 27: Duration <br />The Agreement is for three years, effective January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2016. <br />6. Appendix A: Wages <br />The base wages shall increase by two percent (2%) in each of the years of the <br />Agreement. <br />In addition, the following monthly specialty wages shall be increase to the following <br />amounts: <br />2014 <br />SRO: $130 <br />FTO: $210 <br />DARE: $110 <br />2015 <br />2016 <br />$140 <br />$150 <br />$220 <br />$230 <br />$115 <br />$120 <br />(There would be no change to the Investigator or K-9 Handler specialty pay as these were <br />deemed comparable.) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby approve a three year Labor Agreement with Law <br />Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) Local 204 (Patrol Officers) effective January 1, <br />2014, through December 31, 2016. <br />Adopted this 14"' day of April, 2014. <br />Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />ryal�11N <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
