ORDINANCE NO. 886 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 600, CHAPTER 607, OF THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />CITY CODE RELATING TO "COMMERCIAL VEHICLE REGULATION" <br />The City of Mounds View Ordains: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter 607, <br />Section 607.01, of the Mounds View Municipal Code, by adding the underlined text as follows: <br />Subd 22 Commercial Vehicle: A Commercial Vehicle is any vehicle with a gross weight <br />classification of"E" (6,001 — 10 000 pounds) or higher, as identified on the license plate and specified in <br />Minnesota Statutes Ordinary nick -up trucks and passenger vans customary in residential districts with <br />such a weight classification shall not be considered a Commercial Vehicle for purposes of this Chapter. <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter 607, <br />Section 607.06, of the Mounds View Municipal Code, by adding the underlined text and deleting the <br />st-_eken te) as follows: <br />Subd. 2d. No person owning, driving or in charge of any vehicle with a gross weight classification <br />higher than "E G" (6,,001— 4,09912.001-15.000 pounds) as identified on the license plate and <br />specified in Minnesota Statutes, may cause or permit that vehicle to be parked outside or stand <br />continuously for more than two (2) hours on residential property or public street within a <br />residential zone in the City. <br />SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter 607, <br />Section 607.06, of the Mounds View Municipal Code, by adding the following underlined text: <br />Subd 2e. No person owning, driving or in charge of any vehicle with more than one (1) rear axel <br />chassis design or more than six (6) wheels total may cause or permit that vehicle to be parked outside or <br />stand continuously for more than two (2) hours on residential property or public street within a residential <br />zone in the City. <br />Subd 2f There shall be no more than one (1) Commercial Vehicle parked upon a single-family <br />residential property or per dwelling unit in the case of multiple unit dwellings. <br />SECTION 4. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br />following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: <br />
