To Approve the January 13, 2014, City Council meeting <br />9 minutes as corrected. <br />10 <br />11 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />12 <br />13 11. REPORTS <br />14 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />15 <br />16 Council Member Gunn reported the Irondale robotics team took first place at the Lake Superior <br />17 Regional Competition in Duluth, Minnesota. The team was now qualified for the international <br />18 competition which would be held in St. Louis, Missouri in April. She explained the robotics <br />19 team would be holding a comedy sports fundraiser on April 11, 2014 at 6:45 p.m. at the Irondale <br />20 High School auditorium. She complemented the color guard on their recent first place finish. <br />21 <br />22 Council Member Mueller commented the Mounds View Business Council would be meeting on <br />23 Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. at the Community Center. On Monday, March 17, <br />24 2014, she would be attending a meeting at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church where eight local <br />25 scouts would be earning citizenship merit badges. She invited residents to attend the March 18, <br />26 2014 Festival in the Park committee meeting, which would be held at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. <br />27 <br />28 Council Member Meehlhause noted he would be attending a Twin Cities Gateway Board <br />29 meeting. He then discussed information presented at the recent legislative conference. <br />30 <br />31 Mayor Flaherty indicated he attended a Five Cities meeting today with City Administrator <br />32 Ericson where staff from Arden Hills gave a presentation on TCAAP. He invited all residents to <br />33 attend the Town Hall meeting on Monday, March 31, 2014 at City Hall from 6:00-8:30 p.m. <br />34 <br />35 B. Reports of Staff. <br />36 <br />37 Finance Director Beer explained auditors were working with City staff this week and he would <br />38 have a report for the Council next month. <br />39 <br />40 C. Reports of City Attorney. <br />41 <br />42 City Attorney Riggs had nothing additional to report. <br />43 <br />44 12.
