He learned a great deal about the company at the open house and found <br />Eurofins/DQCI to have an impressive operation. <br />Mayor Flaherty indicated he would be attending a meeting with City Administrator Ericson on <br />January 27, 2014 along with the Ramsey County Commissioners to discuss the TCAAP <br />development. <br />B. Reports of Staff. <br />1. Citizen of the Year. <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane announced that staff was accepting applications for Citizen <br />of the Year. Applications were available at City Hall and on the City's website. The <br />applications were due on February 28, 2014. Eligibility requirements were reviewed and staff <br />noted the Citizen of the Year would be awarded at the March Town Hall meeting. <br />City Administrator Ericson reminded the Council the Home and Garden Show was held this past <br />Saturday and was well attended. The final numbers on the attendees would be provided to the <br />Council at a future meeting. <br />City Administrator Ericson reported the City Hall monument sign was under construction. He <br />stated an electrician was needed to complete the work. <br />City Administrator Ericson stated Metro Cities was holding a meeting on January 30, 2014 <br />regarding the Supply and Demand on Water. He invited the entire Council to attend this <br />discussion. <br />City Administrator Ericson indicated a resident requested the City reconsider bee keeping as an <br />allowed use in Mounds View. He discussed a recent article in the Star Tribune. He stated if the <br />Council was interested this could be reviewed in further detail at a future work session meeting. <br />City Administrator Ericson reviewed the items that would be discussed at the February work <br />session meeting. <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. <br />City Attorney Riggs had nothing additional to report. <br />
