of Mounds View Staff <br />Item No: 07C <br />Meeting Date: March 24 2014 <br />Type of Busines CB <br />Administrator Review: <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Desaree Crane, Assistant City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 8235, Approving a Transfer of Ownership for <br />Gasoline and Cigarette/Tobacco Licenses for Mounds View <br />BP, 2155 County Road 10 <br />Introduction: <br />Anton Maarouf is the current owner of Mounds View BP. Mr. Maarouf is requesting to <br />transfer ownership to Scott Stevens. Mr. Stevens is also the owner of Lucky's Station <br />located in Inver Grove Heights, and has other station locations in Minnesota to include, <br />Andover, Stillwater, Eagan, Minnetonka, St. Paul and Shorewood. Mr. Stevens has <br />submitted all applications and fees for Gasoline and Cigarette/Tobacco Business Licenses <br />to the City. <br />Discussion: <br />Scott Stevens has submitted all appropriate application materials and fees. The licenses <br />will be contingent on a satisfactory fire inspection by the Fire Marshal, which is scheduled <br />for March 27, 2014, at 1lam. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends approval of the Gasoline and Cigarette/Tobacco business licenses <br />contingent on a satisfactory fire inspection.
