• Proficient use of computers and general software programs; experience with Microsoft Office

<br />• Assessing in -field conditions and problems and determining workable solutions to resolve them.
<br />Ability to:
<br />• Manage multiple projects and work assignments within given time constraints and clearly defined
<br />set of expectations.
<br />• Perform routine decision-making in interpreting plans and specifications related to contract
<br />disputes and modifications.
<br />• Coordinate with design professionals to resolve plan discrepancies and construction problems
<br />related to contract documents.
<br />• Calculate basic estimated quantities and cost estimates for public works/facilities improvements.
<br />• Occasionally attend evening meetings and work extended hours as necessary for completion of
<br />assigned duties and responsibilities.
<br />• Obtain and keep current all licensures and certificates required for position.
<br />• Communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.
<br />• Operate a motor vehicle and other tools and equipment used.
<br />• Pass a background check.
<br />TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
<br />• Common office tools and equipment including telephone, personal computer, printers,

<br />While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers
<br />to handle, feel, and operate computers, phones, and other peripheral objects. The employee is
<br />frequently required to talk, hear, see, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time, and
<br />occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, taste, and smell during inspections
<br />and construction monitoring. Audio-visual acuity sufficient to observe, evaluate field conditions,
<br />reading and writing, and communicate orally in person and over the telephone. Specific vision
<br />abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
<br />depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may frequently lift and/or move up

<br />Work Environment:
<br />While performing the duties of this job, the employee primarily works indoors in a typical office
<br />environment that is well lit and has controlled indoor air HVAC system. However, the employee
<br />also makes frequently field/site visits during warmer months between March and November, and
