The City Council also <br />was able to demonstrate replacement tables for training and work sessions. Replacement <br />was deferred to take advantage of the sales tax exemption that took effect on January 1. <br />The City saved $470 in sales tax by doing so. The purchase is at State Contract Pricing. <br />The attached resolution authorizes the purchase of the chairs and tables and authorizes <br />staff to sell or dispose of the old chairs and tables. The Special Projects fund has an <br />appropriation of $3,500 for Dias chairs and $5,000 for table purchases (480-4180-7030). <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Mark Beer <br />
