Mounds View City Council October 28, 2013 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />1 of a Subordinate Health Care Facilities Revenue Note for the construction of a QS -bed <br />2 transitional care facility for Benedictine Living Center, in Fridley, Mirmesota. The aggregate <br />3 principal amount would not exceed $3,000,000. Finance Director Beer explained that the City will have issued $8 million of the <br />$10 million allowed in bank -qualified notes for this year. <br />Council Member Mueller asked when the project would be closing. Devin Rymanowski, <br />Benedictine Care, indicated the intent was to close on the property at the end of November or <br />early December. He explained that Benedictine Cate would be managing the care of the facility. <br />Council Member Mueller questioned how many new jobs would be created through the proposed <br />facility. Mr. Rymanowski estimated that 60 full time employees would be hued to run the new <br />facility. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8165 <br />Authorizing the Issuance, Sale and Delivery of a Subordinate Health Care Facilities Revenue <br />Note (BHS/Allina TCU Project), Series 2013, in the Aggregate Principal Amount not to Exceed <br />$3,000,000, for the benefit of Benedictine Living Center of Fridley, LLC, Payable Solely from <br />Revenues Pledged Pursuant to a Loan Agreement and a Servicing Agreement; and approving the <br />form of and Authorizing the Execution and Delivery of Related Documents. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />B. 7:05 p.m. Public Hearing, Resolution 8164, Approving a Conditional Use <br />Permit for an 1,100 Square Foot Oversize Garage at 8280 Eastwood Road. <br />Planning Associate Heller indicated Sarah Lange and Ryan Carlisle are requesting approval of a <br />conditional use permit to construct an oversize attached garage on their property at 8280 <br />Eastwood Road. The applicants want to demolish the existing 22' x 21'-8" (476 square feet) <br />garage and build a new 22' x 50' attached garage (1,100 square feet). <br />43 <br />44 Planning Associate Heller explained the applicants have submitted plans for a garage larger than <br />45 what City Code allows without a plarming action.
