Coordinator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution No.8174, Approving the 2014 SCORE <br />Recycling Grant Request to Ramsey County <br />In conjunction with Ramsey County and the State of Minnesota SCORE Program, the City <br />of Mounds View is eligible to apply for grant monies to fund 2014 recycling activities. As <br />part of the grant application, the City Council must formally request the funding. This <br />amount is projected to be $25,211.00 <br />Discussion <br />The attached 2014 SCORE Funding grant application describes Mounds View's recycling <br />program and proposed budget allocation. Please note SCORE funds may only be used for <br />their allocated purposes. (For example, administration funds may not be used for publicity <br />costs). <br />In 2014, staff will continue to bring attention to the ongoing composting and recycling <br />programs in the City of Mounds View.
