Approach <br />Mr. Umnacht brings extensive experience in wonting with elected officials and staff in many different <br />settings and situations. Within the past four years, he has been the lead facilitator on over 30 work <br />sessions with elected officials and staff. His work includes a wide range of local governments <br />including small, medium and large organizations. He is noted for high energy, engaging and <br />informative presentations, discussions and work sessions. He has a crisp and clean writing style and <br />easily grasps different ideas and concepts and offers ideas and experiences in support of the City's <br />goals and objectives. <br />Prior to the work session he will personally contact each member of the City Council to discuss their <br />ideas, thoughts and expectations. In addition, if staff participates in the work session he will partner <br />with the City Administrator to develop a means to obtain input from the staff too. Once all pre - <br />session input is obtained, he will work with the City Administrator to finalize the actual agenda and <br />organize the details and logistics of the work sessions. <br />It is important to be open and flexible and to learn more about the specific goals and objectives before <br />finalizing the methods to be used in the actual work sessions. <br />Philosophy Qualities <br />Mr. Umnacht will bring a genuine passion and interest in working with the City.
