Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />May 29, 2018 <br />Page 5 <br />Council Member Gunn thanked Public Works Director Peterson for all of his efforts on receiving <br />the lowest bids possible for this project. <br />Council Member Meehlhause echoed these sentiments. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />D.Second Reading and Summary Publication of Ordinance 943, <br />Amending/Updating Chapter 100 of the Municipal Code, Sections 101, 103, <br />104, 105, 106 and 107. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve an Ordinance amending Chapter 100 <br />of the Municipal Code Sections 101, 104, 105 and 107. He reviewed the proposed changes with <br />the Council in further detail and recommended approval. <br />Mayor Mueller asked if the summary publication would be printed in the local newspaper. City <br />Attorney Anderson reported this was the case. <br />Mayor Mueller discussed the use of the words "may" and "shall" throughout City Code. She <br />noted most of the changes proposed throughout the Ordinance were housekeeping in nature. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Bergeron. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance <br />943, Amending/Updating Chapter 100 of the Municipal Code, Sections 101, 103, 104, 105, 106 <br />and 107 approving the Summary Publication. <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />E.First Reading of Ordinance 944, Amending/Updating Chapter 200 of the <br />Municipal Code, Sections 202 and 203. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council introduce an Ordinance that would amend <br />Sections 202 and 203 within Chapter 200 of the municipal code. He reviewed the proposed <br />technical changes with the Council in further detail and recommended introduction of the <br />Ordinance. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce <br />Ordinance 944, Amending/Updating Chapter 200 of the Municipal Code, Sections 202 and 203. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />F.First Reading of Ordinance 946, Amending the Mounds View City Code, <br />Chapter 1012 related to Rental Dwelling Licenses.
