RESOLUTION 8098 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING AN OFF-SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR VINO & STOGIES LOCATED AT 2345 COUNTY ROAD H2 WHEREAS, Vino & Stogies’ Intoxicating Liquor License expires June 30, 2013; and WHEREAS, all City of Mounds View business licenses must be approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, in accordance with §502.04, subd. 2a of the Mounds View City Code, no intoxicating liquor or wine license shall be granted for operation on any premises on which taxes, assessments, utility bills or other financial claims of the City are delinquent or unpaid; and WHEREAS, Vino & Stogies are delinquent in payment of their property taxes; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends approval of Vino & Stogies’ Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for the period of July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, contingent on a satisfactory report from the Mounds View Police Department, satisfactory criminal background check, a satisfactory fire inspection, and a payment plan submitted to the City on the delinquent property taxes no later than Friday, June 14, 2013. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby approve an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Vino & Stogies for the period of July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, contingent on a satisfactory report from the Mounds View Police Department, satisfactory criminal background check, a satisfactory fire inspection, and a payment plan submitted to the City for the delinquent property taxes no later than Friday, June 14, 2013.
