ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Stigney, Hull, Mueller, Gunn. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. 18 <br /> 19 <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 20 <br /> A. Monday, March 26, 2012, City Council Agenda. 21 <br /> 22 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Monday, March 26, 2012, agenda as 23 <br />presented. 24 <br /> 25 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 26 <br /> 27 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 28 <br /> 29 <br />Mike Gibeau, 2146 Hillview Road, stated he was speaking on behalf of the residents in his 30 <br />neighborhood. There was concern with the speed of traffic near his home and at the local park. 31 <br />The police have been contacted with his concerns. Signs have been posted to control the speed 32 <br />and to assist with controlling traffic at stop signs. He reviewed a map of his neighborhood and 33 <br />suggested additional signage be posted to address the speeding traffic concerns. Another option 34 <br />would be to place a speed bump near the park. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Mayor Flaherty stated a residential neighborhood should have slower moving traffic. He was in 37 <br />favor of additional signage stating Slow-Children at Play. He indicated this issue would be 38 <br />passed along to City staff for further review. 39 <br /> 40 <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS 41 <br /> A. Mounds View School District 621 – Superintendent Hoverman 42 <br /> 43 <br />Dan Hoverman, School District 621 Superintendent, indicated it was a pleasure to be in 44 <br />attendance at the Council meeting.
