<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7948 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION TO <br />HOUSING/CODE ENFORCEMENT INSPECTOR JEREMIAH ANDERSON <br />FOR WORKING OUTSIDE OF JOB CLASSIFICATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Official/Fire Marshal resigned effective May 4, 2012; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, according to the policy adopted in Resolution 5626, and employee <br />may serve in an interim capacity to meet the needs of the vacant position with the <br />approval of the City Administrator and the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 5626 establishes that additional compensation may be <br />authorized for employees serving in an interim capacity taking on higher classification <br />duties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jeremiah Anderson’s performance has been rated satisfactory or <br />higher by the City Administrator, who recommends Mr. Anderson be compensated for <br />the higher classifications he will assume in the absence of the Building Official/Fire <br />Marshal; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Chief confirms that Jeremiah Anderson is certified and <br />qualified to be a Fire Marshal and supports this assignment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize additional compensation to Housing/Code Enforcement Inspector <br />Jeremiah Anderson at a rate of five percent (5%) of his base pay effective May 15, <br />2012. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 14th day of May, 2012. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
