Resolution 7771 Awarding a Construction Contract & Authorizing Engineering for the 2011 SUIP-Area D April 11, 2011 Page 3 estimate at bid time. Area D of the Program includes St. Stephen, Pinewood Court, Jackson Drive, Adams Street, Groberg Street, Lambert Drive, Erickson Road, Clifton Drive, Raymond Avenue, and Belle Lane. These roads are generally located between County Road H2 and I and are on track for a 2011 construction schedule. A map of Area D is attached for reference. The City Council has taken the following steps, thus far, specifically for the 2011 Street and Utility Improvement Project – Area D: • Preliminary Survey-Area D: Approved September 28, 2009 (Res. 7504); • Authorized Design Phase/Plans & Specs: Adopted July 12, 2010 (Res. 7643); • Authorized Geotechnical/Environmental Evaluations: Adopted Sept. 13, 2010 (Res. 7673); • Pinewood Court Design Configuration: Adopted Sept. 27, 2010 (Res. 7675); • Jackson Drive Design Configuration: Adopted Oct. 25, 2010 (Res. 7693); • Concrete Sidewalk on County Road H2: Adopted Oct. 25, 2010 (Res. 7694); • Denied SIP Appeals/Approved Inf. Basin Locations: Adopted Nov. 18, 2010 (Res. 7702); • Approved Plans/Specifications, set bid date, and authorized Bonestroo to provide engineering services for the Bid Phase: Adopted Feb. 28, 2011 (Res. 7747). In addition to the above, various neighborhood meetings were held to get input from residents regarding non-standard street designs, both as stand-alone meetings and as part of the Street and Utility Committee meetings. One remaining item to finalize is the pavement marking configuration for the bump-out parking at Lambert Park. This will need to be determined by mid-summer.
