In the past, the City has also provided a luncheon to <br />appreciate the hard work and dedication of city employees. These gift certificates have been <br />awarded to the eligible employees during the annual employee appreciation luncheon. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />One of the clauses in Resolution 5617 is that the City would provide to employees “gift <br />certificates in the amount of $5 per year of service at five-year increments.” Currently there <br />are 11 city employees that fall under these criteria. Both the Employee Lunch and Gift <br />Certificates are currently budgeted for 2011 (Budget # 100-4100-1600).
