<br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7798 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MOUNDS VIEW BUSINESS <br />PARK SOUTH PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW INDOOR <br />RECREATIONAL USES <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE PA2011-001 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council approved the Mounds View Business <br />Park South Planned Unit Development (PUD) in July 1989 for manufacturing, assembly, <br />warehouse storage and office uses; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Business Park South PUD currently does not allow <br />recreational uses; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the properties located at 2260-2298 Woodale Drive, are legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Condominium No. 296, Mounds View Business Park South, that part of Unit 2 in TI 75 <br />1988 Y (PIN 08-30-23-43-0019) <br />and <br />Condominium No. 296, Mounds View Business Park South, that part of Unit 2 in TI 75 <br />1985 N (PIN 08-30-23-43-0021) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicant and property owner wish to amend the PUD by allowing <br />“indoor recreational uses” in this business park; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have reviewed this request <br />and examined the potential adverse effects that could result from such an amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council makes <br />the following finding of fact related to this request: <br /> <br />1. The Mounds View Business Park South is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD). <br /> <br />2. Two of the buildings in the Business Park South are currently almost vacant, and as <br />such, a potential tenant and the property owner have requested an amendment to <br />the PUD to allow recreational uses. <br /> <br />3. The Land Use Map from the City’s Comprehensive Plan designates this area as <br />Light Industrial Planned Unit Development.
