June 27, 2011, City Council Meeting Minutes. 4 5 Council Member Stigney requested a correction on Page 5, Line 27, stating the shingles were set 6 for replacement and not the building at Hillview. 7 8 Council Member Gunn requested a correction on Page 8, Line 40, noti ng the word ‘‘reasoning’’ 9 should be changed to ‘‘reason.’’ 10 11 MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Hull. To Approve the June 27, 2011, City Council meeting 12 minutes as corrected. 13 14 Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 15 16 B. July 11, 2011, City Council Meeting Minutes. 17 18 MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Gunn. To Approve the July 11, 2011, City Council meeting minutes 19 as presented. 20 21 Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 22 23 11. REPORTS 24 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 25 26 Mayor Flaherty indicated the City had 30 parties registered for National Night Out. He thanked 27 all for participating in the great event and for getting to know your neighbors. 28 29 Mayor Flaherty stated Festival in the Park would be held on August 20th. The parade would 30 begin at 10:00 a.m. Entertainment would be provided at the event by Jonah and the Whales. He 31 encouraged all to attend. 32 33 Council Member Gunn stated she rode with the Police Chief on National Night Out. She had a 34 great time meeting with the residents and to hear their concerns. 35 36 B. Reports of Staff. 37 38 1. Finance Quarterly Report 39 40 Finance Director Beer reviewed the second quarter report with the Council. The summary 41 revenue and expense statements were discussed. He felt an economic recovery has not been seen 42 by the City which left revenues lagging slightly behind budgeted amounts. He stated revenues 43 would increase at the Community Center July through September with increased rentals for 44 weddings. 45
