PROCEEDINGS OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Executive Session <br />Date: August 22, 2011 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Time: 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />1. EXECUTIVE SESSION IS CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:02 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty, Council Members Stigney, Hull, Mueller, and Gunn. City Administrator <br />Ericson, and Finance Director Beer <br /> <br />A motion was made by Council Member Mueller, seconded by Council Member Hull, to <br />recess into executive closed session to: <br /> <br />Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.03, to consider strategies for labor <br />negotiations, including negotiation strategies or developments or discussion and review <br />of labor negotiations or developments or discussion and review of labor negotiations <br />proposals, conducted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 179A.01 – 179A.025. <br /> <br />Vote: 5 – 0. <br /> <br />3. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.03, to consider strategies for labor <br />negotiations, including negotiation strategies or developments or discussion and <br />review of labor negotiations or developments or discussion and review of labor <br />negotiations proposals, conducted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 179A.01 – <br />179A.025. <br /> <br /> City Staff and the City Council reviewed and discussed the negotiation strategies for the <br />Police Sergeant Union Contract for 2011. In addition, strategies were also discussed in <br />regard to all other bargaining units. <br /> <br />4. A motion was made by Council Member Mueller, seconded by Council Member Stigney, <br />to adjourn the Closed Executive Session. <br /> <br /> Vote: 5 – 0 <br /> <br />5.
