To Approve the October 24, 2011, City Council meeting 3 <br />minutes as presented. 4 <br /> 5 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 6 <br /> 7 <br />11. REPORTS 8 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller noted she met with the Mounds View Business Council last week to 11 <br />discuss some of the economic development opportunities within the community. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated she and City Administrator Ericson toured the Ramsey 14 <br />County Dispatch Center last week. She explained she was looking forward to serving as a 15 <br />commissioner. Her first meeting was in December. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Council Member Mueller stated there would be a Ramsey County League of Local Government 18 <br />meeting on Wednesday, November 16th in White Bear Lake. The Festival in the Park Committee 19 <br />was meeting on November 15th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall and additional volunteers were still 20 <br />needed to plan next year’s event. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Mayor Flaherty stated the Ramsey County Board would be voting on the purchase of the TCAAP 23 <br />site on November 15th. This was a milestone for the stadium project and a purchase price has 24 <br />been agreed upon. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Mayor Flaherty noted residents living in Area E of the Street and Utility Improvement Project 27 <br />should have received an informational letter of an upcoming meeting that would be held on 28 <br />November 21st. He encouraged concerned citizens to attend the meeting to gain further 29 <br />information on next year’s project. Police Department Quarterly Report 35 <br /> 36 <br />Police Chief Kinney reviewed the Police Departments third quarter report with the Council. The 37 <br />crime statistics were noted and there was an increase over last year. He indicated the school 38 <br />resource officer remains busy with school committees and special events. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Police Chief Kinney explained that Officer Keckeisen acted as a camp counselor for a Safety 41 <br />Camp held at Long Lake in New Brighton. He was very popular with the kids. Officer 42 <br />Keckeisen also coordinated the National Night Out events in the City. 43 <br /> 44
