Post-deployment activities (e.g., to attend ceremonies and briefings, or to <br />address issues arising from the military member’s death. <br /> <br /> <br />In addition, eligible employees may also take FMLA leave to care for a spouse, son, <br />daughter, parent, or next of kin who is ill or injured in the line of duty during active duty <br />(Military Caregiver Leave). <br /> <br />Attached is Section 2.05 of the Personnel Manual pertaining to FMLA. Staff has added <br />these new provisions to the Personnel Manual in accordance with the Federal Code <br />(additions to Section 2.05 are underlined in blue).
