Date: June 24, 1995 <br /> 111/1 <br /> TO: City Council of Mounds View and <br /> Mayor of Mounds View <br /> We the undersigned residents have received notice of the City Council <br /> hearing regarding the renewal of Robert's Off 10 Liquor license. We <br /> wish to address the following concerns and problems, which we feel <br /> are related to the issuance of such license. <br /> 1. Increased noise levels causing public nuisance and disruption of <br /> the peace. <br /> A. Loud yelling screams and roudy behavior from persons entering <br /> and leaving the Robert's establishment. <br /> B. Loud vehicle noise. "gunning" of engines, prolonged and <br /> loud idling of autos, trucks and motorcycles. <br /> C. Decibel level of live entertainment too high for residents <br /> directly adjacent to Robert's <br /> 2. Increased traffic, hazardous and driving while intoxicated on <br /> residential streets surrounding Robert's <br /> We do not wish to deny Robert's of a primary source of revenue which <br /> a liquor license generates, however, we feel the issuance of such a 111/1 license is a priviledge that requires owner responsibility to it's <br /> surrounding neighbors.
