RESOLUTION NO. 4842 <br /> IIIII <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO BRW, INC. FOR THE <br /> ENGINEERING, DESIGN AND INSPECTION SERVICES RELATED TO THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF THE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE OVER HIGHWAY 10 <br /> WHEREAS, the interview panel of Mary Saarion, Jim Hess, Joyce Pruitt, Mike <br /> Ulrich and Julie Trude has completed interviews and reference checks on the 6 <br /> engineering and design firms who submitted proposals to the City for services <br /> required related to the construction of the pedestrian bridge; and <br /> WHEREAS, the interview panel found BRW, Inc. to offer high quality services at <br /> the lowest price of all the proposals; and <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, the interview panel unanimously recommends the City enter into a <br /> • contract with BRW, Inc. to provide the necessary design, engineering and other <br /> services required for the construction of the pedestrian bridge over Highway 10; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Saarion and Julie Trude have met with the principal of BRW, <br /> Inc., Sabri Ayaz, to review the proposal and Mr. Ayaz is willing to offer the City a fixed <br /> price contract with BRW, Inc., which includes expenses, in the amount of $62,780. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Mounds View <br /> authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a contract with BRW, Inc. to <br /> provide the design, engineering and other services required of them for the <br /> construction of the pedestrian bridge over Highway 10 in an amount not to exceed <br /> $62,780 with funding to come from account #680 established for the pedestrian <br /> bridge construction. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of November, 1995. <br /> ATTEST: — _ ,. , ` <br /> Mayor <br /> • (SEAL) (-5,-L-e-6,41,L) C. <br /> City Administrator <br />
