PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM <br /> Marketing Program Function and Service Standards <br /> In an effort to increase the positive awareness of the City of Mounds View, there is a strong focus on <br /> developing and monitoring marketing activities of the City. With the approval of a new marketing <br /> program in 1995, the necessary steps to implement and fund the program throughout the next few years <br /> will be a challenge. The program includes the coordination of Citizen/Business Marketing Task Force <br /> activities, which entails: the development and implementation of improved communication and <br /> marketing materials, promotional campaigns and image enhancement tools. In addition,the City of <br /> Mounds View will actively market through press releases, community recognition awards and group <br /> presentations. <br /> • <br /> PROGRAM OBJECTIVES ARE TO: <br /> • Continually communicate with Mounds View businesses through the New Brighton/Mounds <br /> View Area Chamber of Commerce and Business Beat Newsletter; <br /> • Coordinate the publication of marketing and communication materials; <br /> • Monitor the Mounds View Marketing Program (i.e., Buy Mounds View First Campaign, Good <br /> News Campaign, Welcome Banners and New Resident Welcoming Program); <br /> • Coordinate fund raising activities to raise money for marketing activities; <br /> • Evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing program; <br /> • Market housing and rehabilitation programs; <br /> • Submit press releases and coordinate press opportunities regarding the activities in Mounds <br /> View for distribution throughout the Region. <br /> • <br />
