The contract between the City of <br /> Mounds View and the City Administrator provides for a salary increase after 1 year satisfactory <br /> performance, advancing from step 3 to Step 4. <br /> Mike Ulrich's position was reclassified to Public Works Director on April 25, 1994. Mike is <br /> currently at Step 4 and his work performance has been satisfactorily reflected in his performance <br /> review. An adjustment is scheduled to from Step 4 to Step 5. Positions which have been <br /> • reclassified follow the same step adjustment schedule as do new hires. <br /> Step placement is determined by experience and qualifications,therefore advancing through the <br /> step plan as the employee's tenure increases resulting in skills and knowledge necessary for <br /> successful performance to be increased. <br /> Recommendation: Motion to approve step adjustments. <br />
