Bingo will be under the large picnic shelter and will use tables and chair <br /> and not the picnic tables. The Park and Rec Dept speaker system will be <br /> used for amplification. <br /> Car show is ready to go. <br /> Fireworks company has been contacted and they confirm their readiness. <br /> Fire Department inspector has been met with, proper insurance has been <br /> arranged and all committee members are asked to help as security around <br /> the tape and in dispersement of the crowd. <br /> Food Booths will be in the police garage, having a hard floor and ceiling <br /> and cool area to sell. Signs will be made to direct people to the food area. <br /> Amy has sent the forms to Ramsey County Health Dept. I was agreed that <br /> the food booths could remain open until fireworks - at which time the lights <br /> would need to be turned off. <br /> Security for the parade has been arranged by Jerry Johnson- security of <br /> the City Hall parking lot will be arranged. Two officers will be on duty <br /> during the day as well as reserves. Mary will call Health One for medical <br /> services. . <br /> Publicity for the Festival is the center piece prepared by Tom VanMeter <br /> through the Lillie Suburban Newspapers which will be delivered to every <br /> home in and around the City of Mounds View. In addition flyers have been <br /> prepared and distributed to Iocal businesses, apartment buildings and <br /> mobile home parks and sent home with participants of recreation programs. <br /> Articles have been printed in the local newspapers and the front page of the <br /> City Newsletter advertises the Festival. Radio station announcements have <br /> been faxed to WCCO and K-102. Buttons are being sold at many <br /> businesses in the community. <br /> NEXT MTG. The Festival Committee was so confident in their plans and organizing that <br /> another meeting was not felt to be necessary. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: Meeting adjourned. <br /> S <br />
