Mayor McCarty attempted to explain the purpose of an Exclusive Negotiations Agreement. <br /> Debbie Young,8205 Groveland Road,thanked Julie for her dedicated service,noting that she has been a great <br /> council member,a wonderful mayor and that the residents would truly miss her. <br /> Sherry Gunn,8120 Red Oak Court,stated as a parent and staff of Pinewood School Julie will be missed a great <br /> deal. <br /> Geri Evans,State Representative for Mounds View and New Brighton,stated Julie has been a good friend to <br /> the neighborhood and her and she really has appreciated Julie's service. <br /> Janet Schuldt,7887 Spring Lake Road,stated she attended a meeting for the reconstruction of Spring Lake <br /> Road where funding sources were discussed. She wondered if the procedure that the city uses is"cast in <br /> stone". Mayor McCarty noted that nothing is"cast in stone"and that an appeal from the citizens will always <br /> be considered. <br /> Cam Obert stated he is very appreciative of the four years that Julie has served on the Council. She has <br /> always gotten involved in issues of the young family and he would personally like to thank her for all that she <br /> has done for the city of Mounds View. <br /> • <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing to Consider Ordinance No.603,An Ordinance Amending the Mounds View Municipal <br /> Code by Amending Chapter 1005,Entitled"Housing Code". <br /> This Public Hearing was canceled. <br /> Public Hearing and Consideration of the Preliminary Plat Request for Silverview Estates,a Planned <br /> Unit Development at the Southeast Corner of Highway 10 and Silver Lake Road. <br /> This Public Hearing was canceled. <br /> COUNC,TI,BUSINESS: <br /> A. Consideration of Adoption of Ordinance No.602,An Ordinance Related to Wetland Zoning <br /> Regulations and Amending Title 1000,Chapter 1010,Sections 1010.07,1010.08 and 1010.09 of the <br /> Mounds View Municipal Code. <br /> Jim Ericson,Planning Assistant,explained that this Ordinance change was discussed at the August 11, 1997 <br /> meeting. This change will basically make the wetland zoning ordinance less confusing and easier to apply. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Stigney to approve the Adoption of Ordinance No.602,An Ordinance Related to <br /> Wetland Zoning Regulations and Amending Title 1000,Chapter 1010,Sections 1010.07, 1010.08 and <br /> 1010.09 of the Mounds View Municipal Code,and to waive the reading. <br /> • Roll Call Vote: <br /> Council member Stigney aye <br />
