• RESOLUTION NO. 5178 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW'S APPLICATION TO BE <br /> CONSIDERED FOR PARTICIPATION IN A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE <br /> MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the implementation of a ring <br /> road system within the City to promote local circulation, keeping traffic off of TH 10; and <br /> WHEREAS the City of Mounds View is proposing to realign Edgewood Drive <br /> north of TH 10 and to make certain intersection improvements at the intersection of TH 10 at <br /> Edgewood Drive, including a new traffic signal installation, within the corporate City limits in <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, preliminary engineering has been completed to design a proposed <br /> layout of the new intersection and new roadway alignment at Edgewood Drive north of TH 10 as <br /> part of the ring road concept. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bythe Council of the City C ty of Mounds <br /> View that the City shall be responsible for the preliminary engineering, project design, right-of- <br /> way acquisition, and permitting functions for said improvements. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that following approval by the Minnesota <br /> Department of Transportation of plans and specifications for said improvements, and before the <br /> contract letting for the construction of said improvements, the Minnesota Department of <br /> Transportation shall prepare an agreement to provide for the State to pay its share of the costs of <br /> the improvements in accordance with the latest"Procedures for Cooperative Projects with <br /> Municipalities". <br /> PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW THIS 27TH DAY <br /> OF OCTOBER, 1997 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Duane McCarty, Mayor <br /> SEAL: <br /> 411 Charles S.
