• <br /> CODE VIOLATIONS OBSERVED AT 2349"LAPORT DRIVE <br /> 1111 <br /> On September 18, 1997 three representatives of Mounds View, members of the St. Paul Ramsey <br /> County's Division of Evironmental Health and I, Joseph Deutsch, by use of a search warrant <br /> inspected the property located at 2349 Laport Drive. Upon my inspection I identified numerous <br /> violations of both the Housing and Building Code. Below is a descriptive list of the observed <br /> violations and the section of the code that they correspond to. <br /> I. House: 1. Peeling paint. <br /> Sec. 607.04 subd. 2b <br /> 2. Rotting boards. Sec. 1005.06 subd. lb <br /> 3. Rotting eves. Sec. 1005.06 subd. lb <br /> H. Doors: Exterior Side Door <br /> Sec. 1005.06 subd. 3 <br /> 1. Frame is rotting. <br /> 2. Screen door is not tight fitting. <br /> Exterior Front Door Sec. 1005.06 subd. 3 <br /> 1. Threshold is rotting. <br /> • <br /> M. Windows: 1. Rotting window frames. Sec. 1005.06 subd. 3 <br /> 2. Broken window. Sec. 1005.06 subd. 3 <br /> IV. Steps: 1. Top step of concrete steps is broken Sec. 1005.06 subd. 2a <br /> off. It is in place but unattached to <br /> the steps. <br /> V. Roof: 1. Looked to be patched in a questionable Sec. 1005.06 subd. 1 c <br /> mariner in at least four spots. <br /> 2. The roof appears to be damaged around Sec. 1005.06 subd. 1c <br /> a vent on the back side of the house. <br /> 3. The structural members of the roofing Sec. 1005.06 subd. 1 <br /> extending out from the front of the <br /> home overhanging the steps appear to <br /> be beginning to rot due to water damage <br /> because of lack of protection from the elements. <br /> • <br />
