CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5/S <br /> ORDERING THE ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS EXISTING AT 2264 <br /> BUCKINGHAM LANE, IN THE CITY OF MOUNDSVIEW <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Mounds View has determined that the building addition <br /> attached to the manufactured home at 2264 Buckingham Lane, in the City of Mounds View constitutes a <br /> hazardous building within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.15. Subd. 3; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the investigation of the Code Enforcement Official, it is recommended that the <br /> hazardous conditions on the property be abated; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes. Section 463.161 authorizes the governing body of any City or town to <br /> correct or remove the hazardous condition of any hazardous building or property; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View as follows: <br /> 1. The City of Mounds View finds that the property located at 2264 Buckingham Lane in the City <br /> of Mounds View legally described in the attached Abatement Order is hazardous within the meaning of <br /> Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.15. Subd. 3. <br /> 2. The hazardous building at the foregoing address also constitutes a public nuisance within the <br /> meaning of Minnesota Statutes, Section 561.01, 561.02 and Chapter 607 et seq. of the Mounds View City Code. <br /> 3. An Abatement Order substantially similar to that attached hereto shall be served upon all required <br /> parties in order to effectuate this resolution and abate the hazardous conditions on the property. <br /> 4. The City Attorney is authorized to take all necessary legal steps to secure compliance with the <br /> Order and to obtain authority to abate the hazardous conditions by court order or consent and assess the costs <br /> thereof against the property. <br /> Dated this _ day of , 1997. by the City Council of the City of Mounds View. <br /> Duane McCarty.
