Don Pauly, City Administrator • <br /> Subject: Development of Inventoried Wetland 1-19. <br /> Field observations of Wetland 1-19 show that vegetative habitats between <br /> the 902 and 904 contours form a continuum of Types 1, 2 and 6 wetlands. <br /> It is difficult or impossible to delineate exactly each of the a for- <br /> mentioned habitats. It is apparent that this landscape is saturated or <br /> seasonally flooded for some duration to support any wetland habitats at <br /> all. If the City is in a position to negotiate drainage easement rights <br /> • for Lots 17-19, I feel little if any impact would result from the develop- <br /> ment of Pinewood Circle. Conversely, any development on Lots 17-19 would <br /> definitely jeopardize the integrity of wetland 1-19. During the development <br /> of Pinewood Circle disturbance to wetland habitats north of the indicated <br /> roadway should be minimized and erosion control measures hnplea»ted to <br /> minimize irmpacts to the wetland. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> ,1"47716.
