ORDINANCE NO.608 <br /> • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT <br /> OVER LOTS 17 AND 18,BLOCK 1,EDGEWOOD SQUARE <br /> • <br /> THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City of Mounds View Municipal Code Appendix D is hereby amended to <br /> include reference to the following Special Ordinance No. 608: <br /> Subdivision 1. All of the following described land is subject to an easement("Drainage <br /> Easement")for public utility purposes, as shown on the plat of Edgewood Square,Ramsey County, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> Lots 17, 18 and 19, Block 1, Edgewood Square, according to the <br /> plat filed of record with the Ramsey County Recorder. <br /> Subdivision 2. The fee owner of the land subject to the Drainage Easement, Good Value <br /> Homes,has requested that vacation of a portion of the Drainage Easement, such portion described as <br /> follows: <br /> For that portion to be vacated out of the Drainage Easement being Lots <br /> 17 and 18,Block 1,Edgewood Square,a plat of record situated in the <br /> City of Mounds View,Ramsey County,Minnesota, described as <br /> follows: <br /> Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 18,thence along the west <br /> line of said Lot 18 north 00 degrees 02 minutes 59 seconds east, 84.00 <br /> feet;thence north 57 degrees 28 minutes 15 seconds east,39.00 feet; <br /> thence south 89 degrees 57 minutes 01 seconds east, 147.14 feet to the <br /> east line of said Lot 17;thence along said east line south 00 degrees 02 <br /> minutes 59 seconds west, 105.00 feet to the southeast corner of said <br /> Lot 17;thence along the south line of said Lots 17 and 18 north 89 <br /> degrees 57 minutes 01 seconds west, 180.00 feet to the point of <br /> beginning herein. <br /> Subdivision 3. There are no public utilities or facilities located in the portion of the Drainage <br /> Easement area to be vacated described in Subdivision 2 of this Ordinance. The proposed vacation of <br /> the portion of the Drainage Easement therefore will not adversely affect the ability of the City or other <br /> utility to maintain,repair, or replace public utilities. <br /> Subdivision 4. The Council finds that there is no longer a public need for that portion of the <br /> Drainage Easement to be vacated, as described in Subdivision 2 of this Ordinance. <br /> Subdivision 5. The portion of the Drainage Easement, as described in Subdivision 2 of this <br /> Ordinance is hereby vacated. <br />
