His <br /> background allows him to work comfortably with public, <br /> private and not-for-profit organizations. With Cincinnatus, <br /> Mr. Eklund provides leadership support services focusing <br /> on strategic planning and implementation. and leadership <br /> search support services. <br /> Prior to joining Cincinnatus, Mr. Eklund was President of <br /> CEO+. a Minneapolis-based consulting firm assisting in <br /> business transitions, executive searches, and providing <br /> interim management at the executive level. Before this, he <br /> served as President and CEO of Parkside Senior Services, <br /> President and CEO of Ebenezer Society. and Vice President <br /> of Market Development with Lutheran Brotherhood. <br /> Mr. Eklund's public service background includes service <br /> as a commissioner of two departments under Minnesota <br /> Governor Quie and as Mayor of the City of Northfield, <br /> Minnesota. Concurrently, he was the Chair of the Political <br /> Science Department at St. Olaf College. <br /> Mr. Eklund holds a Ph.D. from the University of <br /> Pennsylvania in Political Science with specializations in <br /> planning and organizational theory. He currently serves <br /> on the Boards of Directors of the Ebenezer Society, the <br /> Fairview System and Padilla Speer Beardsley. He was also <br /> named Outstanding Professor in the Masters of Arts <br /> program In Public Administration at Hamiine University, <br /> where he teaches Organizational Theory, Non-Profit <br /> Management, and Theories of Leadership and Management <br /> as an Adjunct Associate Professor. <br /> • <br /> TOTAL P.05 <br />
