An effective and
energized team will:
—Solve problems more creatively and efficiently
—Enhance team member's self-esteem and productivity
—Utilize the strengths and talents of each individual on the team
--Achieve the goals and objectives of the organization
—Empower individuals to implement decisions
--And have fun doing it!
While team membership can be a very rewarding and challenging experience, often it can
also be one of the most frustrating experiences. Why? --because of difference!
People generally have preferences for how they like to look at things and how they like to
make decisions. Whenever people differ, the possibilities for friction increase. The
knowledge of one another's unique style-of-relating helps to cut our irrelevant friction. •
More than that, it points up the advantages of the differences. No one person has to be
good at everything. In fact, inherent with in the definition of team is the concept of
difference.
If one is able to use one's own strengths and preferences, and appreciate the other person's
strengths and preferences, it is possible to truly make use of "human resources" and create
an atmosphere of synergy with in the team.
Our Team Building program utilizes a personality inventory. which helps individuals
understand the strengths and needs of themselves and their teammates, as well as learning
strategies for working together in a way which maximizes productivity and minimizes
conflict and mis-communication.
The objective of this program is to increase the perception of personality styles and to
implement key communication strategies designed to create a cohesive high-performing
team that gets results.
•
9 ••?ecelaii,c Peevde W Vloiuemeast"
14570 94a.c*da rine #231 •;• ri,Eif& ?/auedf, We.tmeeota 55124 ❖ (612) 925-2426
