RESOLUTION NO. 4913 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION REGARDING BRONSON DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br /> is considering to reconstruct Bronson Drive from Edgewood Drive to <br /> Raymond Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bronson Drive between Edgewood Drive and <br /> Quincy Street is a Municipal State Aid Road (MSA) and must be <br /> constructed to MSA standards; and <br /> WHEREAS, two public informational meetings were <br /> conducted with the affected property owners to consider public <br /> input, discuss design standard requirements, and preliminary <br /> estimated assessments; and <br /> WHEREAS, this project will include complete street <br /> reconstruction (width of 32 feet, parking on one side) including <br /> B618 curb and gutter, sidewalk construction (7 feet wide) , minor <br /> water main replacement, two blocks of sanitary sewer main and <br /> service lateral replacement, construction of storm sewer, minor <br /> holding pond restoration, and the construction of a surface water <br /> quality / holding pond; and <br /> WHEREAS, this project is proposed to be assessed to <br /> the benefitted properties in accordance with Chapter 202 of the <br /> Municipal Code and the City Charter; and <br /> WHEREAS. the City's engineers have conducted a <br /> investigation of the proposed project and determined that the <br /> abovementioned segment of Bronson Drive is feasible for <br /> reconstruction; and <br /> WHEREAS, public hearing notices were mailed to <br /> affected properties and publication of the proposed project was <br /> advertised in the official City newspaper according to Chapter 202 <br /> of the Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 25, 1996 <br /> to consider public input regarding the proposed project . <br />
