8. <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION Agenda Section: <br /> 94-1228WS <br /> STAFF REPORT Report Number: <br /> —'i0 <br /> AGENDA SESSION DATE July 5, 1994 Report Date: h -94 <br /> DISPOSITION <br /> Item Description: Discussion of Development Review Request of Wolf and Associates <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation: <br /> - No comments to supplement this report <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.) <br /> SUMMARY; <br /> John Purves, representing Wolf and Associates, has made application for <br /> a Development Review to allow the construction of a 9,566 square foot <br /> addition to their existing facility, at 4860 Mustang Circle. Staff has <br /> reviewed the request and found that, as proposed, the development meets <br /> all requirements of the Municipal Code as it relates to setbacks, <br /> parking, land use, etc. Provision for the handling of storm water <br /> runoff on the site was addressed in 1991 when a similar proposal was <br /> approved by both the Planning Commission and the City Council. <br /> In addition to the facility expansion, the applicant is also requesting <br /> that the easement for the former water tower site immediately adjacent <br /> to the subject property be vacated so that it can be utilized for <br /> storage area. Staff has had preliminary discussions with the Director <br /> of Public Works regarding possibly vacating the easement. I will <br /> forward his recommendation on Tuesday evening. <br /> The Mounds View Planning Commission has completed their preliminary <br /> review of this item and has directed Staff to prepare a resolution of <br /> favorable recommendation to be formally acted upon at their July 6, 1994 <br /> meeting. I have included all materials received as part of this <br /> submittal for your review.
