No person shall <br /> without poi.,essing a valid permit. <br /> a. A permit may be issued by the City Council to any applicant <br /> who can satisfactorily demonstrate the following: <br /> (1) He possesses a valid State trapper's license; or <br /> (2) He is under the age of sixteen (16) years and has completed a <br /> course in trapper education offered by or under the sponsorship <br /> of the Department of Natural Resources; or <br /> (3 ) He has at least three (3) years of previous trapping <br /> experience and has not, within the preceding three (3) years, <br /> been convicted of a violation of any trapping law, ordinance or <br /> rule. <br /> b. No person shall place or set any trap with a jaw spread <br /> greater than six inches (6") upon privately or publicly owned <br /> lands within the City. (1988 Code §52 . 09) <br /> c. The City of Mounds View may permit the use of a live trap if <br /> the animal causes damage to property or is a public nuisance. <br /> 701 . 07 : VIOLATION OF PROVISIONS: <br /> Any person violating any provision of this Chapter shall be <br /> guilty of a misdemeanor.
