It was pointed out that the Development
applicant approached Rice Creek Review Request
Watershed District regarding their = of Westminster
requirements for the redelineation of Corporation,
the wetland surrounding the property. 2701 County
Planner Harrington distributed revised Road I,
drawings. The parking issue was Planning Case
discussed at length. Other items No. 375-94
regarding the proposal were also
discussed. He also noted
that a topographical survey will be
available by the end of next week. It
was noted that the revised plans
indicate that the walking path is
eliminated and the commons area is
reduced by 20 percent.
The Commission discussed the parking for
the site. They agreed that additional
overflow parking is needed. It was
advised that a bond be required to
secure that adequate parking for the
site is acquired. Planner Harrington
suggested that the parking situation be
reviewed on a yearly basis. Discussion
continued regarding this proposal. One
item of concern was that no sidewalk
would be available to residents. It was
agreed that a condition would be placed
in the resolution that a provision for
safe crossing of County Road I be
provided.
Motion/Second: Nelson/Miller to
recommend approval of Resolution No.
384-94 recommending approval of a
rezoning request for Westminster
Corporation.
5 ayes 0 nays
Motion Carried
